Keragi Deployment Docs
The Keragi server consists of a wasmx host and on-demand WASM resources; the web client is a separate static frontend. These docs cover installation, configuration, deployment and operations only — no source code.
Quick deployment
Start the service host and web client with the fewest steps using the local packages from the downloads page.
Install the server
Linux x86_64 host installation, directory layout, initialization, start and stop.
Runtime and database
Supported server platforms, the default SQLite database and plans for other platforms and databases.
Development and devices
Custom WASM resources with a simple example, plus device integration and security boundaries for sensors, actuators and relays.
Data and security
End-to-end encryption and key boundaries, the security model, server/client hardening and disclaimer.
Data storage
Data storage from a security perspective: server relays ciphertext only, clients keep messages and keys, and the risks of deletion.
Configuration
wasmx.json, .env, ports, resource prefixes and secrets.
WASM resource packs
Install core resources, the optional connector and the optional AI engine.
Deploy the web client
Host the static web frontend and connect it to your server.
Licensing and pricing
Current licensing, possible future subscriptions or commercial licensing, and version upgrade terms.
Deployment example
A complete single-machine deployment and verification walkthrough.
Get the packages
Download the service host, WASM resource packs and the web client from the
downloads page, or install
npm currently provides the host and userx; use the .tgz files from the downloads page for now.
The service host currently supports Linux x86_64 only and uses SQLite by default. Windows, macOS, Linux ARM64, ESP32 and external databases are planned for later versions; see Runtime and database. Desktop / Android clients are coming soon.
