Licensing and pricing
Keragi uses a proprietary software license: the Software grants limited rights under the LICENSE included with each package. It does not transfer ownership and does not grant any source-code license. This page summarizes licensing and pricing; the full terms are in the LICENSE. A Chinese reference translation is available at LICENSE.zh-CN.txt.
This page is not a quote, an offer, or a modification of the
LICENSE. If the EnglishLICENSEand a translation differ, the English version prevails.
1. Current license
- The host and WASM resource packages include a
LICENSE; use, copying, distribution, modification and reverse engineering are governed by that license. - The license permits you to install and use the Software on servers or devices you own or control, for personal use or internal business purposes.
- No source code is provided. Without written permission, you may not redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense, or provide the Software to third parties as a hosted or managed service.
- You may not remove copyright or license notices, or circumvent paid-feature controls, license checks or usage limits.
- Third-party components are governed by their respective licenses and notices, provided with the Software or on the website where required.
2. Free and paid editions
- Current versions are provided free of charge under the license in effect at release.
- Later versions may charge for some host features or specific WASM resources through subscriptions, per-resource licenses or commercial licenses.
- The scope, price, billing period, trial, auto-renewal, cancellation and refund policy will be clearly stated when the relevant version is released.
- You will not be automatically converted to a paid edition without purchasing a Paid Feature or renewing a subscription; if a subscription ends, Paid Features may stop working.
- Licensor may change which features are free or paid in future releases, but will not retroactively alter the rights you received for a version you lawfully obtained, unless you choose to upgrade to a release governed by new terms.
3. Versions and upgrades
- Released versions remain governed by the license included with them; whether they may be used indefinitely and whether they include future updates depends on that license.
- Upgrading to a paid version requires separate acceptance of its terms; you will not be charged automatically without confirmation.
- Review the release notes and license terms for the relevant version before upgrading.
4. Commercial licensing
A separate commercial license is generally required for:
- Providing the Software to third parties as a hosted service, SaaS, managed service or service bureau;
- OEM, redistribution or pre-installation on hardware for sale;
- Large-scale enterprise deployments or scenarios requiring dedicated support or an SLA;
- Other commercial uses not expressly permitted by the
LICENSE.
Licensing options and contact details will be published on the website.
5. Roadmap and changes
Features described in the documentation or on the website as planned are not delivery commitments. Scope, timing and pricing may change; the released pages, release notes and license terms prevail.
6. No warranty, liability and high-risk use
- The Software is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free or absolutely secure operation; you are responsible for testing and backups.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits or business; the total liability cap is set out in the
LICENSE. - The Software is not intended for life support, medical, nuclear, aviation, emergency, industrial safety or other high-risk environments. When used with relays, actuators or other physical equipment, you must implement fail-safe controls, emergency stop and independent safety certification.
7. Governing law
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the license is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensor is established or, if the Licensor is an individual developer, in which the Licensor resides. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts at the Licensor’s principal place of business or, for an individual, place of residence. The full terms are in the LICENSE.
8. Licensor and contact
- The Licensor may be an individual developer or a registered legal entity, as identified in the applicable order, invoice or license notice.
